These pictures show early plantings and our first harvests. In 2000 we didn't even have a destemmer and had to spend 6 hours picking grapes from the stems by hand. All the crushing and fermentation took place in what is now our tasting room.

By 2005 we had a crusher-destemmer and a larger press and we had moved operations outside the tasting room.

The 2005 Heart of Texas Wine & Food Festival featured nearly 30 wineries serving samples of more than 100 wines at the beautiful Waco Art Center. Tehuacana Creek Vineyards & Winery was proud to be part of this event, a benefit for the Waco Humane Society. It has become an annual event for us since then.
